所谓软装，即软装修、软装饰。是相对于传统"硬装修"的室内装饰形式，指房屋装修完毕之后，设计人员利用那些易更换、易变动位置的饰物与家具，如窗帘、布艺、沙发套、靠垫、工艺台布及装饰工艺品、装饰铁艺等，对室内的二度陈设与布置。软装设计所涉及到的产品包括：家具、灯饰、窗帘、地毯、挂画、花艺、饰品、绿植等。

以上因素必将促使"软装"不断壮大，"软硬装"迟早实现分离，软装定制设计必将是未来发展趋势，而"软装设计师"也将脱离"室内设计师"独自成角儿。
